A world leading medical facility is looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to support their President of Surgery and Director of Operations. If you have previous experience supporting senior executives and are looking for a new career opportunity in the medical field, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities include:

? Performs secretarial duties including transcription, composition and dictation for physicians and RI staff.
? Prepares and processes correspondence. Answers routine inquiries and drafts letters.
? Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, and provides information.
? Schedules legal depositions, legal meetings, and legal telephone conferences. Maintains correspondence for legal matters.
? Maintains appointment calendars for physicians and executive team. Arranges meetings, travel, vacations, etc.
? Assists with preparation of agendas, materials, notes, etc.
? Attends meetings takes and types minutes, and types dictated minutes for meetings.
? Processes corrections to dictation.
? Maintains files. Assists in establishing office systems. Distributes sorted mail to physicians.
? Provides support to administrative staff, medical staff, and patients when necessary.
? Completes or assists credentialing department with hospital appointment and reappointment applications.
? Completes Physician Board certification or recertification applications.
? Assists in the care and maintenance of office equipment.
? Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
? Some travel among regional (Philadephia, New Jersey, White Plains) offices required.

The required qualifications for this position are:
? 3+ years of experience directly supporting high level executives
? Experience in the medical industry preferable
? Knowledge of medical terminology a PLUS
? Ability to transcribe dictation
? Computer skills a MUST including but not limited to MS Office
? Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented
? Must be customer service oriented
