The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for various duties associated with supporting the business development team at Clinilabs Drug Development Corporation. .
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
This position of Business Development Coordinator requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Exceptional attention to detail, communication and follow-up skills, ability to multitask, and professionalism are required. Ability to interface with management as well as clients is required. Experience working in a biotech or CRO strongly preferred. Preferred candidate will live in the New York Metro area, but work-from-home may be an option for the right individual.
Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management such as Salesforce.com) are preferred.
The activities of the Business Development and Marketing Associate include, but are not limited to:
* Assist the business development team in prospecting into new accounts by ensuring accurate and current contact information, following industry publications to search for new business opportunities, ensure accurate record keeping in CRM platform, and design prospecting lists in advance of conferences and meetings. * Initiation of outreach to customer prospects (mail, email, telephone, LinkedIn) * Support the Business Development team in setting up meetings at conferences * Maintain accurate client records for the purpose of ongoing marketing efforts * Production of various management reports including business development pipeline, forecasting reports, dormant accounts, etc.
